American Kaleidoscope by the Minneapolis Pops Orchestra conducted by Jere Lantz at the Lake Harriet Band Shell in Minneapolis, MN on 7/4/10.  Angelus in Virginem (arrangement of the 14th century hymn) by the National Lutheran Choir conducted by David Cherwein at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis, MN on 12/10 – 12/11/10.


The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass by the Ames Chamber Artists, Iowa State Singers and Monroe Crossing, conducted by Dr. James Rodde on 1/24/10 (Ames), 4/11/10 (Ames), 4/18/10 (Randall), and 5/10/10 (Ames).  Also performed by the Northwestern University Chorale conducted by Robert A. Harris at the Pick-Staiger Concert Hall at Northwestern University on 3/6/10 and by the New Classic Singers conducted by Lee Kesselman at the McAninch Arts Center in Glen Ellyn, IL on 5/8/10.  Oh, Yes! (spiritual arrangement) by the Ausburg Choir conducted by Peter Hendrickson in WI, MN, Beijing, Guilin, Zhuhai, Hong Kong, China, 4/10 – 5/12/10.  Snow (excerpts) by Otterbein College Department College of Music at the Battelle Fine Arts Center, Otterbein College in Westerville, OH on 5/27/10.  American Kaleidoscope by the Minneapolis Pops Orchestra conducted by Jere Lantz at the Lake Harriet Band Shell in Minneapolis, MN on 7/4/10 and 8/1/10.  



The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay (FL), led by Richard Zielinski, introduced Cradle Song on November 30 and December 1, 2007. The Choir of the Williamsburg (VA) United Methodist Church, under the direction of Carol Hunter, gave the premiere of Hark, Glad Songs, on March 23, 2008. God Bless the Young Folk was performed by alto Ethan Poindexter, baritone Andres Hansen, and pianist Charles Kemper on May 27, Plymouth Congregational Church, Minneapolis, MN. Soprano Maria Jette and pianist Sonja Thompson introduced The Blonde Assassin June 13, St Paul, MN, while Schumann’s Excellent Extension was performed June 20-22 by Zeitgist, also in St. Paul. Praise for steel pan and organ, was presented June 23 and 26 by Jay Johnson and Jonathan Gregoire, American Guild of Organists National Convention; Minneapolis, MN. The Minnesota Voices Massed Choir, directed by Kathy Romey, gave the premiere of Minnesota, That’s Me August 23 at the Minnesota State Fair, St. Paul.


The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass was presented May 16, 2007, by the Bluegrass group Monroe Crossing and the Cincinnati (OH) College Conservatory of Music Chorale, under the direction of Dale Warland; April 6, 2008 by Plymouth Congregational Church Choir and Monroe Crossing, led by Philip Brunelle, Minneapolis, MN; and May 18 by the Master Chorale of Washington (DC) and Monroe Crossing, conducted by Donald McCullough; VocalEssence and Monroe Crossing, with Brunelle, gave performances of the work October 27, 2007, Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI; March 8, 2008, Fox Valley Performing Arts Center, Appleton, WI; and March 14, Luther College Center for Faith and Life, Decorah, IA. The Glen Ellyn Children’s Chorus, conducted by Emily Ellsworth, presented The Day of Hope December 15, 2007, in Wheaton, IL. Joan DeVee Dixon gave several performances of the organ prelude Children of the Heavenly Father: April 9, 2008, Temple Church, London, England; April 11-23 and July 14-17, The Czech Republic.
