Premieres

Linda Bangs introduced Another Twist, for baritone sax and piano, on March 3, 2007, at the Akademie für Tonkunst, Darmstadt, Germany. Several works were introduced at Carson-Newman College, Jefferson City, TN, on October 25: Concurrently Colliding Sonorities, for piano and percussion quartet; Warpbone, for trombone and piano; 4x4, for trombone quartet; A Carol, for
soprano voice and piano; and Fantasie auf Ein’ Feste Burg.

Performances

Valley Breezes for solo flute was performed February 3, 2007, on the Performing Arts and Lecture Series, in Knoxville, TN. The Salem Choral Society Orchestra presented Concertino for chamber orchestra, on April 30, in Roanoke, VA.  We Shall Walk through the Valley for a cappella choir performed during May-July by the Jefferson (VA) Choral Society in England, Scotland, and at the National D-Day Memorial (VA).
