2009
PREMIERES
Sessions of Sweet Silent Thought (5 Sonnets of Shakespeare) for SATB chorus, was introduced by the New York Virtuoso Singers, under the direction of Harold Rosenbaum.
PERFORMANCES
Symphony No. 1, Symphony No. 2, and Serenade for Strings, were all performed by the Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic, conducted by Ulysses James.
RECORDINGS
Arabesque, CD containing the works Clarinet Concerto, Spirituals, and Serenade Concertante.
2007
Premieres
Several new works were premiered in 2006, including Symphony No. 2, by the Skokie Valley (IL) Symphony, conducted by Daniel Boico; 5 Canonic Duos at the Austrian Consulate in New York, NY; and Duet for Solo Clarinet, by clarinetist Alex Fiterstein, for Bargemusic, in Brooklyn, NY.
Performances
The first movement of Symphony No. 1 was performed by the Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic, conducted by Ulysses S. James, while Elegy on the Name “Dmitri Shostakovich”, received two performances from violist Katie Kaderauch for the Carmel Music Society.
