Grill was the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association Commissioned Composer for 2010. Her composition Suite Romantique was premiered at the WMTA State Convention in 10/10. She will present a session on Pedagogy Saturday at the Music Teachers National Association Convention in Milwaukee, WI on 3/11.
PREMIERES
Suite Romantique by Dr. Nicholas Phillips, piano at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. Five movements, Prelude, Rhapsodie, Scherzo, Nocturne and Toccata.

A concert of Grill’s compositions was held in January 2009 to honor her founding of the La Crosse (WI) Area Music Teachers Association, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2010. The composer continues to present concerts and workshops throughout the country.
PREMIERES
Chopsticks Rag for Three, for piano, was introduced at the Schmitt Expo in Minneapolis, MN.
PERFORMANCES
A piano trio titled Who’s Next? was presented at a meeting of the Pittsburgh Piano Teachers Association.

2009
Joyce Grill continues to present clinics and workshops to teacher and student groups across the country. In May 2008, she conducted at the Biennial Piano Monster Concert at Plymouth State (NH) University, where five of her compositions were performed, including the premiere of the piano duet Rock On Plymouth. Several of her compositions were chosen for the National Federation of Music Teachers Contest list, while other compositions were chosen for state contest lists.
