Soliloquy for Piano, with composer at piano, at Parrish Art Museum, Southampton NY on 10/16/10; and at Steinway Piano Gallery, South Huntington NY on 10/22/10.  Serenade No. 2, for guitar and piano at Sorce-Lodge Duo in Wading River, NY on 11/5/10; and Bellport, NY on 11/21/10.  Reveries on a Mountainside, solo clarinet by Lars Wouters Van Den Oudenweijer in Enkhuizen, Netherlands on 11/13/10.


Quantum Quirks of a Quick Quaint Quark No. 3 by Michael Skelly, piano at the South Huntington Library, Huntington Station, NY on 6/11/10.  Remembrances; Sonata for Piano by Richard Zimdars, piano at Mercer University, Macon, GA on 10/10.  Soliloquy for Piano in Wading River, NY on 11/5/10; and in Bellport, NY on 11/21/10.  Thredony for String Trio at The Cutchogue-New Suffolk Library in Cutchogue, NY on 12/5/10.

Two Duets for Two Violins, commissioned by Long Island (NY) Arts Council, was introduced March 29, 2009, at the Freeport Memorial Library in Freeport, Long Island, NY. The work was performed by Serena Tam and Nadine Wang, both 10 years of age. Members of the American Chamber Ensemble (violinist Erico Sato, violist Chiu-Chen Liu, and cellist Chris Finkel) commissioned Threnody for String Trio. The work was first heard in a performance by the commissioning artists May 3, at the Park Avenue United Methodist Church in New York, NY.


Remembrances was performed three times in 2008 by pianist Richard Zimdars; September 9, in Athens, GA; and September 18 and 25 in, respectively, Rio de Janeiro and Goias, Brazil. Christopher Oldfather presented Three Improvisations April 17, 2009, at Tarrant County College in Arlington, TX; while You Ju Lee performed Sonata for Piano, May 5, in Novisad, Serbia. Kyrie, for string orchestra, was heard May 20 in a performance conducted by Joseph Rutkowski, at Great Neck (NY) North High. Contralto Melissa Maravell and the composer presented the song cycle Transmutation, June 6, at the South Huntington Library, NY; on the same program, pianist George Cork Maul joined the composer for Not Your Grandmother’s Four-Hand Piece. Divers (Diverse) Divertimento was played by the Constellation Trio on November 6 in Wading River, and December 6 in Copiague, NY. Fandango Fantasy was heard December 13 as performed by clarinetist Asuka Yamamoto, violinist Angelia Cho, cellist Jane Cords-O’Hara, and pianist Lin Li, in Bellport, NY.

The composer introduced Four Miniatures for Piano May 4, 2008, at the Southold (NY) Library.


Sonata for Piano was presented April 6, 2008, by You Ju Lee, Agnes Scott College, Decatur, GA. Jonathan Babcock led the Conservatory Chamber Choir of Brooklyn (NY) College in performances of Three Songs of Madness and Death April 17 and May 6, Queens College, Flushing and Brooklyn College, Brooklyn. Landscapes of the Mind III was heard in an April 20 performance by violinist Cynthia Marcus and cellist Suzanne Valerio, with the composer at the piano, Roslyn NY. The composer accompanied contralto Melissa Maravell in a performance of Dew-drops on a Lotus Leaf, June 6, South Huntington, NY. The Stony Brook Quintet performed Kyrie for string quintet, November 7 and December 7, Wading River and Copiague, NY.
