In Memoriam Georgia O’Keeffe for harpsichord was a featured work on Larry Palmer’s Limited Edition Concert in Dallas, Texas on 2/26/10. Trifles for harpsichord by Gwen Blumenschein at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Denver on 4/6/10. Larry Palmer also performed Trifles numerous times including at Beall Hall, University of Oregon, Eugene on 7/26/10; and at Caruth Auditorium, Southern Methodist University, Dallas on 8/30/10. Alpine Suite for horn and piano by Karl Kemm and Dinzin Broñola-Rada on March 30 and 31 in Wolfe Recital Hall on the Del Mar College campus in Corpus Christi, Texas on 3/30 – 3/31/10. Saying Grace (SATB, piano, and percussion) by Salem, Oregon’s McKay High School Concert Choir directed by Gretchen Longwell at the Mission Mill Museum Spinning Room on 3/7/10; at the Salem/Keiser Advanced Choral Festival on 3/8/10, and at the OMEA District IV Choral Competition at Willamette University on 4/6/10.
The composer’s work In Memoriam Georgia O’Keefe, for harpsichord, was introduced by Larry Palmer, July 28, 2008, First Presbyterian Church, Santa Fe, NM. The work was commissioned by Palmer for the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Harpsichord Workshop XVIII. Palmer presented the piece again on September 8 for the 39th Annual SMU Faculty Recital in Dallas, TX; and once more June 10, 2009, at First Lutheran Church, Boston, MA.
Remembrances was presented March 9, 2008, by cellist Richard von Foerster and pianist Leah Peer, Trinity United Methodist Church, Denver, CO. Violinist Jennifer Crane and pianist Oksana Ezhokina performed Contemplation March 27, 2008, for a recital titled “Icicle Creek: Cascades of Peace,” at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Walla Walla, WA. Suite Blues was heard June 16, at the Intermountain Suzuki String Institute in Sandy, UT, as performed by the Teacher Trainee’s Orchestra, conducted by the composer; the piece was heard again November 22 in a performance by the Preucil School String Orchestra, led by Carey Bostian, First United Methodist Church, Iowa City, IA. Little Tango was performed by organist Larry Palmer October 12 at First Presbyterian Church, Santa Fe, NM. Christmas Lullaby received numerous performances in 2008, including December 6 and 12 at Walla Walla (WA) University and December 13 and 20 at Denver South Seventh-DayAdventist Church, the latter during its “Feast of Lights” concert. Several performances took place April 18, 2009: Heidi Suite (violin and piano), Trifles (harpsichord), and Suite for Organ, all by violinist Kathleen Spring and keyboardist Ernie Zenoniani, in Denver, CO.

Glenn Spring’s Saying Grace, for SATB, piano, and percussion, was introduced May 15, 2007, at the Union Colony Civic Center in Greeley, CO. Commissioned by the Greeley Central High School (GCHS) Arts Magnet, the first performance was sung by the GCHS Concert Choir under the direction of Jeremy Francisco. The text is a new poem by WashingtonState poet Dan Lamberton. A second performance was given May 17 on the GCHS Spring Concert. Denver South Seventh Day Adventist Church devoted its March 3 Evensong to Spring’s music, including performances of Fantasia on “Dulcimer” and Cantilena for string orchestra; Amazing Grace for soprano and strings; Contemplation, “Aria”, “Erwachen”, and “Die Kunstlerin spricht” for violin and piano; Three Etudes for organ; Remembrances for clarinet and piano; and Then Said Abraham for viola and organ.
Linda Raney performed Little Tango and Aria on her October 6, 2006, organ recital at The Cathedral Church of St. John in Albuquerque, NM. The Walla Walla College Church Choir, under the direction of Kraig Scott, performed Christmas Lullaby, for SATB choir, on December 23. Organists Daniel Goltz and Scott performed the harpsichord work Hommages in March 2007, by dividing the movements between two small organs at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral in Seattle, WA. On May 7 the Mercury Ensemble and the Littleton Youth Symphony performed Chiquita and Suite Blues in Littleton, CO. Larry Palmer’s July 10 harpsichord recital in Handel House, London, was titled “Hommages” and featured Hommages for Harpsichord. Kraig Scott performed an organ version of Trifles on September 29 at College Place, WA, and on August 11 at Dunblane Cathedral, Dunblane, Perthshire, Scotland.
