Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship

A private grant awarded under the auspices of the Fondation des Etats-Unis in Paris, the Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship carries an individual stipend of 8,500 Euros (approximately $11,000 US Dollars) paid in 5 installments throughout the year.

Each scholar is reserved a special rent-controlled live-in artist atelier or music studio, permitting them to fully concentrate on their artistic project while enjoying a unique international campus experience in Paris. 

The Fondation des Etats-Unis also offers a pre-professional program called PONT – Portes Ouvertes aux Nouveaux Talents, for its artists and musicians in residence.  PONT extends mentoring and professional insertion possibilities during the scholars’ stay in Paris, and continues its support for alumni.  The program also provides opportunities for its members to participate in the vibrant cultural season at the Fondation des Etats-Unis, which boasts a private art gallery and a 200 seat-capacity Grand Salon , decorated in the Art Deco style with a series of historically significant frescoes, a stage and a Steinway concert grand piano.

‘Signature’ Subscription

Signature is a free, online magazine featuring the contributions and achievements of women in classical music worldwide, published by The Maud Powell Society for Music and Education.
