Impact Project Grants
For a College Chapter and their Music Department
Since 1985, SAI Philanthropies, Inc. has offered matching grants to college and university music departments in cooperation with the resident Sigma Alpha Iota chapter or a group of chapters. The following conditions apply:
- Impact Project Grants are awarded in support of major projects in music which will have impact beyond the confines of the campus.
- The yearly allocation of $15,000 will fund several Impact Grant projects. In no instance will the Impact Grant be awarded for more than half the total cost of the project.
- Matching resources provided by the school may be in money and/or in-kind contributions.
- Eligibility is limited to college and university music departments with SAI college chapters.
- Grants may not be used for scholarships or tuition.
- SAI Involvement may be a college chapter, a college/alumnae chapter team, or a group of chapters where that is geographically feasible.
