Music Business/Technology Scholarship

in memory of Dorothy Cooke Whinery

Project Description

At the National Convention of Sigma Alpha Iota held in Dearborn, Michigan, July 31-August 4, 2003, a scholarship of $2,000 was announced to honor former SAI National Executive Secretary, Dorothy Cooke Whinery. This scholarship is offered to a member of SAI who is enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in the field of Music Business or Music Technology. The degree emphasis may also include Music Marketing, Music Business Administration, Entertainment Industry, Commercial Music, Music Management, Recording Industry or other related fields.

2007-2008 Winner: Alexa Cabellon, Beta Tau, New York University, Phi B Province
