Dennis Kam, of Miami, FL, chairs the Music Theory and
Composition department at the University of Miami School
of Music.
Premieres
Prelude, Puzzles, and Postlude, for mandolin, tuba,
and chamber ensemble, had its first performance with Bill
Walach, Gary Buttery, and members of the South Florida
Youth Symphony, Feb. 7, 1999 at St. Philip's Episcopal
Church in Coral Gables.
Performances
On Jan. 26, 1999, Craig Hultgren and Kevin Grigsby played
Sonata, for cello and piano, in Birmingham, AL.
