John Downey
SAI National Arts Associate John Downey, of Shorewood,
WI, teaches music at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
School of Fine Arts. A London-Downey festival of his music
was projected for Nov.-Dec. 1999.

In 1999, violinist Erin Aldridge and pianist Leslie Pook
premiered
The Irish Sonata (Irish Mist, NIght Moon
in Gallway, and Celtic Sun Dance) at the University
of Wisconson-Milwaukee, Feb. 17, followed by a repeat
performance at the Allis Art Museum, May 15.
