Lawrence K. Moss

A Silver Spring, MD resident, Lawrence K. Moss is Professor of Composition at the University of Maryland School of Music, in College Park.

Premieres

At a Capitol Composers Alliance program, pianist Brian Ganz presented Racconto, July 24, 1999 in Washington, DC. The Strada Facendo program, directed by Esther Lamneck, included the first performance of Korea, for tape and dancers, July 17, 1999 in Pisa, Italy.

Performances

Lifelines, for clarinet and tape, was heard on a New Horizons program, June 1, 1999 in Baltimore, MD. At a Society of Composers national conference, Tim Ruederman soloed in Saxpressivo, for saxophone and tape, Apr. 23, 1999 in New York. Wang Xiao Juin played Three Chinese Poems for Solo Cello, Apr. 12, 1999 at the University of Maryland.
