Annual American Composers Update
Elizabeth Ruth Beeson
Elizabeth Ruth Beeson** has played piano and organ for
seven years at St. Francis Episcopal School and at Terrace
United Methodist Church, both in Houston, TX. In 1999-2000,
she also played at the Astrohall, the Hyatt Regency Hotel,
and the Treemont Retirement Home, and five local churches,
all in Houston. She also gave a taped piano performance
for Disneyworld, in Florida, in Apr. 2000. The year 2000
makes 24 years that she has taught piano.
Performances
On Apr. 25, 2000, Beeson presented her piano works
Lullaby
in C Major No. 1, Lullaby in C Major No. 2, and
Cellestial
Sounds at St. Francis Episcopal School. She performed
Country Swing and
Russian Soldiers, also
for piano, at the Margo Marshall School of Ballet, in
Houston, May 15, 2000.
