Premieres
Joseph Hermann led the Tennessee Tech University Symphony
Band in the first performance of
Critical Speed,
Feb. 11, 2000. In spring 2001, the Cumberland Children's
Chorus, conducted by Linda Ferreira, will present
Catch
the Wind, for children's choir and brass quintet.
Performances
Walls of Zion, for symphonic band, had performances
with wind ensembles of Iowa State University and the Milwaukee
Youth Symphony.
Vaudeville was heard with the Kent
State University wind quintet at the Ohio Music Educators
Association annual meeting, in Cleveland, Jan. 28, 2000;
and with the Air Force Woodwind Quintet at Robbins Air
Force Base.
