Roger C. Vogel resides in Athens, GA, where he serves
as Professor of Music in theory and composition at the

Premieres
Winter Song for SATB choir, two flutes, and piano,
commissioned by the Athens (GA) Master Chorale, Joseph
Napoli, director, was given its first performance on Dec.
3, 2000 at the First Baptist Church in Athens.
Performances
Twin Moons, for flute and clarinet, was performed
by Andrea Loewy and Marcus Jordan at the College Music
Society Southern Chapter Annual Conference, held at the
University of Louisiana at Lafayette on Feb. 25, 2000.
At the Southeastern Composers League Forum, held Apr.
9, 2000 at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro,
Incantation was presented by solo cellist Craig
Hultgren. The International Music Festival of the Federal
University of Santa Maria, in Vale Ve Vinito, Brazil,
included
Eulogy, from
Eulogy, Aria and Ballade,
with Milton Maciadri, bass viol, and Sandra Koun, piano,
July 22, 2000.
Sirens was played by Cathy Handcock
and Ronald Waln, flutes, at the University of Georgia,
Apr. 3, 2000.
