Premieres
The Temple Square Concert Series, March 3, 2001,
at Temple Square in Salt Lake City, UT, included
the first performance of Thom Ritter George's Trio
for Flute, Bassoon, and Piano (CN 353, 1999),
with the Terra Nova Trio. In 2002, Ludwig Music
Publishing Co. is planning to release his Second
Suite in C.
Performances
On April 20, 2001, in Clarksville, TN, Bob Lee
led David Fuller and the Austin Peay State University
Band in Concertino for Tuba (CN 320C). The
Idaho State University Concert Choir, conducted
by Scott Anderson, presented Sing!, from
Orpheus, May 18, 2001, in Pocatello. A Wisconsin
Conservatory of Music program featured Trio No.
1 (CN 346, 1994), with The Prometheus Trio, September
24, 2001, in Milwaukee.
