9, 2001, Ann Cummings played Ringing Stillness, Pearl
Light, for piano and tape. The
Palaces of Memory, for chamber orchestra and tape, was heard at
Arizona State
University, in Phoenix,
with the iChamber Players, Gary Hill, conductor, November 19, 2001, and in Sacramento,
CA, with the Camellia Symphony, November 17, 2002. A Mosaic Concert at the University
of Washington included
pianist Erin Chung in Spiral Journey,February
14, 2002. In 2002,
Like a Seated Swan, for viola and computer-realized sound,
had performances with Jerome Miskell in
Alliance, OH,
at a Mt. Union College New Music Concert, February 26, and at the
Most Significant Bytes Festival, March 14; and with Dorothy Shapiro
at the International Viola Congress, held at the University
of Washington, June 21.
