John H. Schooley

John H. Schooley, a tuba player and founding member of the Appalachian Brass Quintet, released The Rejoicing, his second CD with the quintet, July 18, 2002. In 2002, Adagio, his brass-quintet arrangement of Barber's Adagio for Strings, had performances at West Virginia University April 15, and at Fairmont State College, April 21. A Digest of Harmonic Technique, a first-semester music-theory program, was published on CD-ROM, summer 2002.
