PerformancesA festival of Bassett's music on October 6-7, 2001, presented by artist members of Brave New Works, Chris Younghoon Kim, conductor, at the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, included String Quartet No. 4; Illuminations, for flute and piano; Duo Concertante, for saxophone and piano; Love Songs; Music for Cello and Piano; Pierrot Songs, for soprano and five instruments; Sounds Remembered, for violin and piano; Jade Garden, for soprano and piano; and Temperaments, for guitar. On September 16, the inauguration concert of music on Bassett's Equilibrium Records recording (see Recordings) was given at the University of Michigan.
