Performances

In 2002, Roque Cordero's Eight Miniatures for Small Orchestra was on programs of the Dayton (OH) Philharmonic Orchestra, under Neal Gittleman, March 15; and of the Texas Christian University Orchestra, German Gutierrez, conductor, in Fort Worth.  Gary Whitman played Soliloquios No. 3, for clarinet, April 10, 2002, in Fort Worth.  Five New Preludes was performed by pianist Martha Marchena, May 15 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  On August 5, 2002, Roberto Hidalgo Monroy, piano, presented Tres Meditaciones Poeticas and Five New Preludes in Medellin, Colombia.  The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Gittleman, commemorated the first anniversary of September 11, 2001, with Adagio Tragico, for string orchestra, September 27-28, 2002.
