On April 21, 2002, at Holy CrossLutheran Church in Fort Wayne, IN, the Oak Park Concert Chorale, directed by Paul Lindblad, introduced Prayers of Peace - Five Motets and The King of Love My Shepherd Is, both for a cappella SATB and children's choirs. Lorraine Brugh led the Kantori of the Chapel of the Resurrection in the first performance of Psalm 104, for brass, choir, congregation, and organ, at the Valparaiso University Baccalaureate ceremony, May 19, 2002. The concertato Where Rivers Run and Mountains Rise, for multiple choirs, bells, brass, organ, and timpani, was presented, under Holly Jagger, at the Sesquicentennial of the United Methodist Conference, June 1, 2002, in Scranton PA. PerformancesOn May 5, 2002, the Richard Hillert Festival at Grace Lutheran Church in River Forest, IL, included the Oak Park Concert Chorale and The Paul Lindblad Choristers, under Lindblad, in Surely He Has Borne Our Griefs, Within the Vale of Eden, and Shepherding Their Sheep, all for SATB a cappella choir; Agnus Dei, for three choirs and percussion; and I Was Glad When They Said to Me (Psalm 122), for two choirs and organ.
