In February 2003, Robert Xavier Rodriguez's Decem
Perfectum, a concertino for woodwind
quintet, brass quintet, and wind ensemble, commissioned by a consortium
of wind ensembles, is scheduled to premiere with the University of
Arizona Wind Ensemble, Gary Hill, conductor.

the Columbus (OH) Symphony in The Tempest, March 2002.
A Music from Copland House program
in New York, NY,
March 2002, featured Les Niais Amoureux. Also in March 2002, an all-Rodriguez concert
included Con Flor y Canto, The
Song of Songs, Fanfare from Adoración Ambulante, Fantasia Lussuriosa,
Chronies, and Lull-A-Bear, at the University
of Texas at Dallas,
in Richardson, conducted
by the composer. The Dallas
Opera produced over 55 performances of Monkey See, Monkey Do
in spring 2002. In June 2002, Rodriguez's opera Frida was presented in Nordhausen
and Recklinghausen,
Germany.
