Performances Four Studies for Solo Contrabass and Dance Images for Solo
Flute were both heard in 2003. Variations on "The Turkish
Lady" for Bass and Piano was performed June 6 by David Murray,
bass, and Dianne Frazer Cross, piano, for the International Society
of Bassists Convention, University of Richmond (VA). Two movements
from Ariel for Solo Piccolo, "To Swim" and "To
Fly," were presented June 25 by Leslie Marrs, Radford University,
