SAI Friend of the Arts Arthur R. Frackenpohl is a Professor Emeritus from the Crane School of Music, SUNY-Potsdam, NY.

Premieres

Two Psalms for Chorus were presented by the Palmyra-Macedon Select Chorus, Palmyra, NY, July 2002. Concerto for Brass Quintet and Strings received its New York, NY, premiere by the Metropolitan Brass Quintet and the Chinese Youth Orchestra, in Lincoln Center, May 2003.

Performances

Brass Quintet No. 4 was played at the Crane School of Music, Potsdam, NY, in October 2002. Odd Owls for mezzo-soprano and piano, was heard in Fort Lee, NJ, and New York, NY, in November. Madstop Twostep was performed by the Canton (NY) High School Band in June 2003.
