Create in Me a Clean Heart O God, for unison choir, C instrument, and keyboard, was heard on a tour of Ireland and Scotland as performed by The Smoky Mountain Chorale with John Corina, oboe; Barbara Dooley, piano; and James Dooley, conductor: St. Mary's, Limerick, July 10; St. Ann's, Dublin, July 14; St. John's, Edinburgh, July 16; St. Andrew's, Inverness, July 18. PerformancesIn Paradisum: 'In Memoriam: Theodore Jahn' received performances throughout 2003 by the University of Georgia Woodwind Quartet: SMENC, Savannah, GA, January 23; Music and the Arts at Vineville, Macon, GA, January 26; University of Georgia, February 3; Southeastern Composers League, March 7; and the Federal University of Goiâs, Goiânia, Brazil, September 19. A Simms Diptych was presented by Ellen Richey, soprano; John Corina, oboe; Donald Corina, violin; and Margaret Strahl, piano, March 3, at a meeting of the Southeastern Composers League; while The University of Georgia Chorus, with conductor Mitos Andaya and pianist Kimiko Ito, presented O Brother Man on March 11. Fanfare and Processional for Solo Organ (winner of the TCOCS 2003 Composition Award) was performed by organist Brian Milnikel on June 8, Twin Cities Organ Concert Series, Saint Joseph, Michigan. The composer conducted the Corina Singers and organist Andre Lash in a performance of his Selected Anthems (II), on July 27, for The American Guild of Organists, Northeast Georgia Chapter, Athens, GA. Monica Fucci, contrabassoon, and the Conservatory Manuel de Falla String Orchestra, conducted by Norbert Garcia, presented Sonnet for Contrabassoon and String Orchestra, on September 17, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
