Performances

Miller Asbille led the University of New Mexico Band in performances of Lullaby for Kirsten, on October 28, 2002, and August 8, 2003. Narratives was presented February 26, 2003, by the Amorso Guitar Quartet at the New Music Festival, Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti. Brass Quintet was played by the Contemporary Directions Ensemble at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, April 12. Several works were heard August 8, during the Mu Phi Epsilon National Centennial Convention, Cincinnati, OH: Two Stephens Songs, Lori Gould, mezzo soprano, and Fayola Ash, piano; The Three Graces, Deborah Ash, Glennis Stout, and Susan Whitener, flutes; and The Song of the Aulos, Susan Bissiri, oboe. Concerto for Orchestra was presented October 16-18, by the Detroit (MI) Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Neeme Jarvi.
