Annual American Composers Update

Allen Hoffman serves as the Legislative Liaison for the State of Connecticut Commission on the Arts and as the Connecticut State Arts Endowment Fund Manager. He recently completed a term in the state's General Assembly, where he sat on the Appropriations, Education, and Judiciary Committees and on the Connecticut-Israel Exchange Commission. Currently, he is an at-large member of the Metropolitan District Commission and has been the vice-president elect of the Hartford Conservatory of Music Board of Directors.

Suzanne Gates led the City Singers in the first performance of Adoramus Te, for SATB a cappella choir, at Trinity College, Hartford, CT, in spring 1997.
