Bruce P. Mahin
Bruce P. Mahin resides in Radford, VA, where he holds
the position of Associate Professor of Music and Director
of the Center for Music Technology at Radford University.
By Departing Light, for six percussionists and
piano, will be published in the SCI Journal of Musical
Scores.

Ensemble, conducted by the composer (Apr. 25); and

Elected, a musical comedy in two acts, directed by
Mahin (Oct. 13). Also in 1997 Mahin played
Galileo,
for electronic wind instrument, interactive computer,
and synthesizers, at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago
(Sept. 26); at the Levine School of Music, Washington,
DC (Mar. 15); and at Emory & Henry College, Abingdon,
VA, on a concert of his electronic music (Mar. 18). He
will provide another program of his works for electronic
wind instrument, interactive computer, and synthesizers
at Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, PA, Mar.
