Annual American Composers Update

Dean C. Howard

At the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Peoria, IL, Dean C. Howard's hymn A Centennial Hymn was heard first, with the congregation and organist Carroll Green. Howard also performed a demonstration watercolor painting for the church's art series.

Premieres

Dedication was premiered by the Sanctuary Choir, led by Ron Kiesewetter, June 1, 1997.

Performances

On July 6, 1997, Margaret Sommerfield and Green played a cello/piano version of Dedication.
