Elizabeth Grieger Wiegand
SAI Patroness Elizabeth Grieger Wiegand
makes her home in Michigan City, IN. She has received
her fifth ASCAP Popularity Award. On Feb. 18, 1997,
she appeared as a guest on WHME-TV's Emmaus Factor program,
in South Bend, IN. Her article, "Piano Guild and Piano
Teaching as Therapy," has been accepted for publication
in Piano Guild Notes magazine.
Performances
On Oct. 4, 1997, a Cystic Fibrosis fund-raising
concert included Lively Stones and the St. Stanislaus
Polish Choir singing The Answer is in Jesus,
Oct. 4, 1997 at the Barker Mansion. Wiegand played her
piano work Snow Butterflies at an Indiana Music
Teachers Association Northwest Chapter meeting. Rosalee
Wozniak sang Michigan City is the Town at the
Woman's Study Club's District Meeting. On Michigan City's
WHME-TV, Wiegand's Quiet Love and Peace was broadcast
four times in 1997.
