Karl Korte

Karl Korte, a Buskirk, NY resident, is 1997-98 Visiting Professor at the Williams College Department of Music, in Williamstown, MA. He has retired as Professor Emeritis of Composition at the University of Texas at Austin.

In 1997, Jeff Hellmer soloed in Homage -- Bud Powell at the Society of Composers, Inc. National Conference, in Miami (Mar. 9); and at the Society of Electro-Acoustic Music in the U. S. National Conference, in Kansas City (Apr. 5).
