This season, performances at Northwestern
University include Quintet, with Paul Bro, alto
saxophone, and the Lydian String Quartet (May 14, 1997);
Children's Bedtime Songs, for SATB choir, with
the University Singers (May 16, 1997); Symphony No.
1, with the Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra,
Victor Yampolsky, conductor (Nov. 22, 1997); and Reflux,
a concerto for amplified bass viol, solo wind ensemble,
piano, and percussion, with Bertram Turetzky and the
Northwestern University Wind Ensemble, led by Mallory
Thompson (Mar. 14, 1998).
