Cry of the Dove, for solo cello,
was reviewed by Harris Goldsmith in the Fall 1997 New
York Concert Review.
Passages, with the Ohio Chamber
Orchestra, under David Lockington, was broadcast on Radio
Warsaw (Poland) in October 1996 and again in May 1997.
In Aug. 1997, the Music Teachers National Association
(NMTA) named her the Ohio composer of the year.
Premieres
As part of the Ohio Composer of the Year Award, the NMTA
commissioned
Harrier, for viola, cello, and bass
viol, which premiered Oct. 6, 1997 in Toledo. Steven Elisha
presented
Cadenza (Cry of the Dove), for solo cello
Oct. 23, 1997, in Weill Recital Hall, New York, NY. Commissioned
by the Fortnightly Music Club of Cleveland (OH),
Quintet,
for English horn, bass clarinet, bass viol, Dilling harp,
and piano, was heard first at the Cleveland Institute
of Music, Feb. 4, 1997.
