Annual American Composers Update

Don Haddad

Don Haddad is a retired educator. His recently published teaching methods are Band Techniques Step by Step (Neil A. Kjos Music Co.), co-authored with Robert Elledge, and 20 Short Etudes (Southern Music Co.), for tuba. Contracted for publication are Encore, for French horn and piano, with Wingert-Jones Music, Inc.; and Mood Impressions, for piano, with Neil A. Kjos Music Co.

Performances

According to ASCAP's Writer Performance Statements, his music has been heard at the following colleges and universities during the last several years: the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Ball State University, Bowling Green State University, Indiana State University, Butler University, Augustana College, Northwest Missouri State University, Texas Tech University, University of Southern Mississippi, Florida State University, California State University at Stanislaus, Radford University, Elizabethtown College, Southwestern University, Berry College, and Oklahoma Baptist University. His works also were played by the Florida West Coast Symphony, Music in the Mountains, and Rock Island. ASCAP's foreign records show performances in Norway, Finland, The Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Great Britain, France, Canada, Spain, and Hong Kong.
