The composer's 75th-birthday concert featured the first
performance of
Quiet Night Song, May 1998 in New
York. In 1999, expected premieres include
Flash Dances,
with the Westchester Philharmonic;
Clarinet Concerto,
with the Seattle Symphony; and
Rhapsodic Variations
No. 7, with pianist Michael Boriskin.
