Cincinnati (OH) Alumnae Chapter celebrated its 50th anniversary by honoring Elinor Johnson as Cincinnati's charter member and introducing past presidents. Seven members dressed for the occasion and presented a Founders Day skit depicting the lives of each of the seven founders. Tempo!, May 2005 Epsilon Pi (Truman State University) is celebrating its 35th anniversary with events and activities including the annual New Music Festival, which consists of an international composition competition and several concerts featuring new music from the faculty and students as well as other composers around the world. A new tradition called the Women in Music which features one or more talented female musician(s) from the University in junior or senior recitals, was begun in November. Tempo!, May 2005 Members of the Fort Worth (TX) Alumnae Chapter celebrated the 59th anniversary of the chapter in October 2005 by displaying an original photograph of the 16 founding members and installing officers (including National Executive Secretary Mildred Sale) on a cake. Scrapbooks from each decade were enjoyed, and awards won by the chapter through the years were displayed. Tempo!, December 2005 Sigma Phi (Louisiana State University) celebrated its 78th birthday on November 6. The chapter initiated four new sisters, bringing the total membership to 57. Tempo!, May 2005 Washington (DC) Alumnae Chapter celebrated six decades of music and sisterhood in DC at the December meeting with festivities including the annual Silent Auction, affiliating four sisters, and a sing-along of favorite SAI songs.
