Members of the Cincinnati (OH) Alumnae presented a two pianos/eight hands program in October. Tempo! May 2005

Eta Omega (University of the Pacific, Stockton, CA) held a "Sounds of the Season" production that served as a fall recital and fundraiser. Tempo! May 2005

Iota Chi (Ball State University, Muncie IN) presented two recitals - a Music of the Night formal recital and a College Alum recital, which premiered the SAI Wire Choir. Tempo! May 2005

The members of Fort Lauderdale (FL) Alumnae presented their annual Scholarship Musicale on February 13 at the John Knox Retirement Village in Pompano Beach. Tempo! December 2005

The Houston (TX) Alumnae chapter presented its annual American Music Musicale on April 17 at Bethany United Methodist Church. The program featured compositions by John Alden Carpenter, John Duke, Bruce Leon, member Suzanne Marion, Douglas Moore and David Ashley White, Director of the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston. A piano-clarinet-bassoon trio performed selections recorded by Benny Goodman. Tempo! December 2005

Iota Eta (Indiana State University, Terre Haute) women held a recital of music by women composers in a continuing effort to applaud the efforts of women in the field of music. Tempo! May 2005

Beth Guilbeaux (flute) and Geraldine Hobbell (piano) of the Lafayette (LA) Alumnae performed the "Sentimentale" from the Bolling Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano, during a concert in october 2005 by the Lafayette Concert Band. Tempo! December 2005

Kansas City (MO) Alumnae members presented holiday musicales at the Bishop Spencer Place Retirement Community and the Lakeview Village Retirement Community. Each retirement community has one of more SAI members as residents. Tempo! May 2005

Kappa Sigma (St. Mary's University of Minnesota, Winona, MN) held an all-SAI musical event - a coffeehouse-style performance of popular jazz, soft rock, music soundtrack, and blues. Tempo! May 2005

Richmond (VA) Alumnae give an annual Gellman Room Concert at the Richmond Public Library, featuring works of many composers. Tempo! May 2005

Carrie Nicholas, soprano, Boulder (CO) Alumnae accompanied by Mary Jane Frohardt, Denver (CO) Alumnae performed music of Hoiby, Floyed, Barber, and Gershwin. Tempo! May 2005

Theta Lambda (Furman University, Greenville, SC) holds an annual Christmas concert with Phi Mu Alpha. Tempo! May 2005

Xi (Lawrence University) organized an ensemble comprised mainly of SAIs with an SAI as conductor. The performance, for elementary school children, was of Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf for narrator and orchestra. Before the concert, several Xi sisters brought their instruments to the area schools, played the various themes from Prokofiev's music, and demonstrated how each instrument and part matched with each character in the story.
