Mary Frances is an initiate of Delta Phi Chapter at Mansfield University, where she served as Editor and Music Chair. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, her Master’s of Arts in Music Education from Rowan University, and a Ph.D. in Music Education from Temple University. Mary has been a member of the Philadelphia Alumnae Chapter, where she served as President, VP Ritual, and VP Membership. She recently completed nine years serving as Chi A Province Officer. Additional service includes: serving on the 2018 Nominating Committee; Editor for the Collegiate Comments in Tempo! ; and being a member of the Summer Scholarship Selection Committee. She is the recipient of the Sword of Honor, Rose of Honor, Rose of Dedication, and Wreath of Achievement.

Currently, Mary Frances is an Elementary Band Director teaching beginning band in five elementary schools in the Washington Township School District, in Sewell, NJ. She plays euphonium and trombone in two community bands and sings in her church choir. This past spring, she got into cycling and tries to ride whenever she can. At home, Mary Frances has a dog (Zoey) and a cat (Molly.)
