Tracey was initiated into Eta Tau Chapter at Shepherd University in the Spring of 1996, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education with certification in K-12 vocal and instrumental music. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies from West Virginia University. She held several leadership positions in both her collegiate and alumnae chapters. She served as Iota C PO 2006-2012 and Region VII Regional Officer 2012-2015. Tracey was elected as NVP, Ritual and Fraternity Education at the 2015 National Convention. She is a recipient of the Sword of Honor, Ruby Sword of Honor, Rose of Honor, and Wreath of Achievement.
Professionally, Tracey is employed as the choral director and drama club sponsor at James Wood Middle School in Winchester, Virginia. She is a member of the National Education Association, National Association for Music Educators, and American Choral Directors Association. Tracey has been named Shepherdstown Middle School Teacher of the Year, James Wood Middle School Teacher of the Year, and the Northern Shenandoah Valley ARC (organization that advocates for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities) Educator of the Year. She serves on the leadership team of the Hampshire County (WV) Relay For Life- an event sponsored by the American Cancer Society.
Tracey lives in Capon Bridge, West Virginia with her husband, Brian, and dog, Maxima.
