Jennie Ross was a charter member of the Eta Xi chapter at Central Michigan University (CMU), where she earned a special education teaching degree with a focus on the emotionally impaired. While there, she studied tuba and marched in the CMU Marching Band for five years. Just before she was married, Jennie joined the Ann Arbor Alumnae Chapter, and she has held many of the chapter officer positions since, including Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and President.
Jennie was the Alpha A Province Officer from 2006-2012, serving two terms, and is a 25 year member. She is the mother of four wonderful children and is celebrating her 20th wedding anniversary in October. Jennie continues to play her tuba in a Civil War re-enactment band, is active in her local community theatre, the Hartland Players, and is an active member of the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.
