In 2005, she co-founded the Sig-Phi Honda Battle of the Bands Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia, an annual event that lasted 15 years and raised over $20,000 for Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI) and Phi Mu Alpha philanthropies. While in graduate school at the University of Georgia, she joined the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter, contributing as Fundraising Chair and Musicale Committee member, while performing locally and as a studio backup vocalist. She was the first African-American woman to earn a Master of Natural Resources (MNR) with a Focus in Forest Biotechnology from UGA in 2009.

Siteria returned to Tallahassee in 2008, where she served in the Tallahassee Alumnae Chapter as VP Programs, member of the Fundraising Committee, and Musicale committee co-chair.
