Tamara Shoemaker

Tamara Shoemaker was initiated into Alpha Mu Chapter at Carnegie Mellon University, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Operations Research and Statistics. She continued her education with a Master’s of Applied Statistics at Penn State and has spent her career in various data analytics roles, currently working for Comcast. Tamara has kept music in her life by playing cello in local community orchestras and being active in SAI Alumnae chapters in both Charlotte and Philadelphia, where she served as chapter Treasurer and on numerous committees. This is Tamara's third term on the Philanthropies board, and her first as Treasurer. In addition to being on the board of SAI Philanthropies, Inc. Tamara has served on boards of some local Jewish organizations including the Greater Philly Hillel Network and Next Gen (part of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia).
