NATIONAL PRESIDENT

 

Jessica Chichester, Ph.D.

Jessica was initiated into SAI by the Sigma Omega chapter at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA, where she majored in Biochemistry and played the Euphonium in the Symphonic Band. Jessica’s service to SAI began as president of her collegiate chapter, for which she was awarded the Sword of Honor and Ruby Sword of Honor. After graduation, Jessica affiliated with the Selinsgrove Alumnae Chapter while pursuing her doctorate in Microbiology and Molecular Virology at Thomas Jefferson University. While in graduate school, she was elected Chi A Province Officer, a position she served in for six years. Jessica was then appointed Region VIII officer and was grateful for the opportunity to serve in this capacity for an additional six years. In 2014, Jessica was appointed the National Vice-President, Collegiate Chapters, a position that she held for 8 years. Most recently, Jessica was elected National President at the 2022 National Convention, a position that she is honored and humbled to hold. For her years of service, Jessica has been awarded the Rose of Honor, Wreath of Achievement, and the Ring of Excellence. She credits active leadership in Sigma Alpha Iota with allowing her to keep her passion for music alive in a career full of scientific experiments. Jessica currently lives in Glen Mills, PA and works for Merck & Co. Inc. as a Principal Scientist in the Regulated Bioanalytics and Exploratory Vaccines group. She continues to play the Euphonium in community ensembles.

 

 

NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, ALUMNAE CHAPTERS

 

Siteria Gregory

Siteria M. Gregory was initiated into Theta Nu Chapter at Florida A&M University (FAMU) in Fall 2002, where she sang 2nd Alto in the award-winning FAMU Concert Choir. While an undergraduate, she served in multiple leadership roles, including Treasurer, Fundraising Chair, Corresponding Secretary, and Stepmaster. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2004 with a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture. She is a recipient of the Sword of Honor.

In 2005, she co-founded the Sig-Phi Honda Battle of the Bands Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia, an annual event that lasted 15 years and raised over $20,000 for Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI) and Phi Mu Alpha philanthropies. While in graduate school at the University of Georgia, she joined the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter, contributing as Fundraising Chair and Musicale Committee member, while performing locally and as a studio backup vocalist. She was the first African-American woman to earn a Master of Natural Resources (MNR) with a Focus in Forest Biotechnology from UGA in 2009.

Siteria returned to Tallahassee in 2009, where she served in the Tallahassee Alumnae Chapter as VP Programs, member of the Fundraising Committee, and Musicale committee co-chair. In 2021, she led the chapter’s rechartering as President, completing extension requirements in under five months during the pandemic.

From 2022–2025, she served as Lambda B Province Officer, increasing membership retention by over 30%, boosting Province Day participation, and achieving an over 90% on-time report submission rate. Her unique strategic systems improved chapter management and inspired adoption by other Fraternity leaders.

An advocate for inclusion, she served on SAI’s inaugural Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force under Dr. Keena Day during the 2022–2025 triennium.

Professionally, Siteria is an entrepreneur. She also chairs the Fundraising and Technology committees of the Tallahassee Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., raising over $150,000 for scholarships and youth programs. In 2024, she was honored as Delta of the Year.

Siteria’s passion for SAI is grounded in her unwavering commitment to sustainability, accountability, and inclusivity. She believes every member deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. Humbled by the opportunity, Siteria is honored to be nominated for National Vice President, Alumnae Chapters, and looks forward to ushering SAI into a new era of leadership.

 

 

NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, COLLEGIATE CHAPTERS

 

Jaielle Manning

Jaielle Manning was initiated into the Mu Gamma chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota at Hampton University in Hampton, VA where she studied Music Education with a concentration in voice. After receiving her bachelor degree, she went on to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching from Hampton University and an Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Old Dominion University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Administration and Supervision from Old Dominion University. During her undergraduate studies, Jaielle served as the Recording Secretary and Vice President, Ritual. After graduation, Jaielle affiliated with the Hampton Roads Alumnae Chapter and was elected as the Province Officer for Iota D. She also served on the Task Force for the Director of Diversity and Inclusion.

Jaielle is currently a high school Assistant Principal in Stafford, VA. Prior to this position, she served as an elementary school music teacher with Fairfax County Public Schools and a high school music teacher and chair of the fine arts department with Suffolk Public Schools. Jaielle has a passion for creating opportunities for young people to get involved in the arts and works to find new, exciting experiences for them.

Jaielle feels very passionately about Sigma Alpha Iota. She believes that if we all work together, we can continue to progress on the ideals and goals of this Fraternity and we can grow as an organization and individuals. It is the job of every member to share their voices and experiences so that we can grow together in beautiful harmony.

 

 

 NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, EXTENSION

 

Jennifer Zerangue Mistretta

Jennifer Zerangue Mistretta is an initiate of Iota Omicron Chapter at the University of Louisiana, where she earned both her Bachelor’s in Accounting and her Master’s in Business Administration.

Jennifer currently serves as the National Vice President, Extension, working with collegiate students and alumnae members to develop new chapters of Sigma Alpha Iota.

As a collegiate member, Jennifer was awarded an undergraduate scholarship by SAI Philanthropies, Inc. She was awarded the National Collegiate Treasurer’s Award at the 2003 Centennial Convention in Dearborn, MI. Jennifer went on to serve as president of her collegiate chapter and was awarded the National Collegiate Leadership Award and both the Sword of Honor and Ruby Sword of Honor. Upon graduating, she received the Scholastic Award and the Collegiate Honor Award. While pursuing her Master’s degree, Jennifer affiliated with the Lafayette Alumnae Chapter, serving as the chapter’s Vice President, Ritual. In 2006, she was elected Omega A Province Officer. From 2009-2018, Jennifer served as National Vice President, Finance. In 2018 she was elected as the National Vice President, Extension. During her alumnae years, Jennifer has been awarded the Wreath of Achievement and Ring of Excellence.

Currently residing in the greater New Orleans area with her husband (Friend of the Arts) and son, Jennifer has been active in local philanthropic projects. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and is a partner at EisnerAmper. Jennifer is a member of the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a 2011 graduate of the AICPA Leadership Academy.

Jennifer's work with the Fraternity, Philanthropies, and connections with members across the country through SAI extension efforts, keeps her connected to music and our sisterhood.  She is grateful for the nomination and opportunity to continue serving SAI!

 

 

NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, FRATERNITY DEVELOPMENT

 

Michelle Werner

Michelle Werner was initiated into the Delta Lambda chapter at SUNY Fredonia in 2001. Upon graduation, she immediately affiliated with the New York Alumnae Chapter.  Michelle has had the honor of having been involved on the national level of the Fraternity, having been asked to serve on the Nominating Committee, National Objectives Committee (as a member and chair), Communications Director, Convention Volunteer Coordinator (for the 2018 and 2022 conventions) and most recently Phi B Province Officer for the past three trienniums. She has been awarded the Sword of Honor, Rose of Honor, and Wreath of Achievement.

Professionally, Michelle is an accomplished marketing professional. She has been involved with all facets of marketing, from publicity, email marketing, social media, event planning, and digital marketing. She received her BA in Music Business with a concentration in Marketing and Promotions from SUNY Fredonia in Fredonia, NY. Two years after graduation, Michelle received her MBA in Marketing at New York Institute of Technology. She is also a cantor and member of her church choir on Long Island, NY.

 

 

NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE

 

Jacqui Ramírez

ramirezJacqui Ramírez was initiated in 2011 at the Lambda Omicron Chapter at Florida International University. A dedicated and passionate sister, she has held multiple officer positions in the Fort Lauderdale Alumnae and Patroness Chapter and served as the Lambda A Province Officer from 2023 to 2025, providing guidance and leadership to collegiate and alumnae chapters across South Florida.

Professionally, Jacqui is the Marketing and Events Director for Gilda’s Club South Florida, where she oversees all communications, social media, and the organization’s signature fundraising events.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication-Arts from Florida International University. Her experience in the public administration and non-profit sector includes roles at Miami-Dade County, the American Cancer Society, and the Art and Culture Center/Hollywood, where she led high net worth events and oversaw operations.

In addition to her sorority involvement, Jacqui has served in various officer roles with the Miami Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Kappa Sorority. Her commitment to service, sisterhood, and the arts continues to guide her professional and volunteer endeavors.

 

 

NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, RITUAL AND FRATERNITY EDUCATION

 

Rebecca Sepulveda

Rebecca Sepulveda is a 2009 initiate of the Eta Sigma Chapter at Eastern Kentucky University where she earned her BM and MM in Music Education as well as endorsements in ESL and Gifted Education. She has been affiliated with Eta Sigma and Lexington Alumnae, where she held several offices and committee chairs. In addition, she has served the Fraternity as a Fraternity Director- National Website Monitor, Sigma A Province Officer, Sigma D Province Officer, as a member of the LCPM Review Committee and is currently serving as NVP Ritual and Fraternity Education.

Rebecca is a three-time recipient of the Professional Development Grant and a recipient of the Music Education Outreach Grant through SAI Philanthropies, Inc. She has been awarded the SAI Scholastic Award, Sword of Honor, Rose of Honor, and Wreath of Achievement. 

Professionally, Rebecca is an Elementary Music Teacher in Lexington, KY. She is a member of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association, Kentucky Orff-Schulwerk Association, and American Federation of Teachers. Within her community, she works closely with local collegiate music education departments to host student teachers and practicum students.

Rebecca is very passionate about our ritual and traditions. She loves sharing about the evolvement of ritual and the Fraternity as a whole, while also showing how it has stayed true to the vision of our Founders.
