Jennifer Zerangue Mistretta

Jennifer Zerangue Mistretta is an initiate of the Iota Omicron Chapter at the University of Louisiana where she earned both her Bachelor’s in Accounting and her Master’s in Business Administration.

As a collegiate member of SAI, Jennifer was awarded an undergraduate scholarship by SAI Philanthropies, Inc. She also served as collegiate chapter treasurer where she was able to obtain a grant through SAI Philanthropies, Inc. for her chapter’s annual service project. She was awarded the National Collegiate Treasurer’s Award at the 2003 Centennial Convention in Dearborn, MI. Jennifer went on to serve as president of her collegiate chapter and was awarded the National Collegiate Leadership Award and both the Sword of Honor and Ruby Sword of Honor. Upon graduating, she received the Scholastic Award and the Collegiate Honor Award. While pursuing her Master’s, Jennifer affiliated with the Lafayette Alumnae chapter, serving as the chapter’s Vice President of Ritual. In 2006, she was elected Omega A Province Officer and since 2009 Jennifer has served as the SAI National Vice President of Finance. In her role as the NVP, Finance, she has also served as an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors of SAI Philanthropies, Inc. During her term on the NEB, Jennifer has been awarded the Ring of Excellence and the Wreath of Achievement.

Currently residing in the greater New Orleans area, Jennifer has been active in local philanthropic projects, including raising funds for the American Heart Association. Jennifer is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Louisiana. She is an Associate Director at Postlethwaite & Netterville, named as one of the top 100 firms in the U.S. She is a member of the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is a graduate of the 2011 AICPA Leadership Program and currently serves as a member of a sub-committee of the Board of Examiners (the entity that has oversight of the CPA exam).
Jennifer's work with the Fraternity, Philanthropies, and connections with SAI members across the country has given her an avenue to remain connected to the field of music. Jennifer is grateful to have had the opportunity to serve SAI for the past twelve years.
